A Lake Panasoffkee woman was arrested after a pair of undercover sting operations caught her allegedly selling and distributing methamphetamine to a confidential informant.
Dannielle Marie Summersill, 41, was taken into custody Thursday, near the intersection of County Road 470 and County Road 461 in Lake Panasoffkee.
According to arrest reports from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office, the arrest stems from two street-level narcotics operations conducted by the Special Investigations Squad in December 2025.
During the first operation on Dec. 8, a confidential informant equipped with hidden audio and video recording devices used a marked $20 bill to purchase methamphetamine from Summersill. Exactly one week later, on Dec. 15, the same informant met with Summersill again.
