Two Florida Men Arrested After 120 MPH I-75 Street Race With Toddlers In Back Seat

An interstate street race reaching speeds over 120 mph ended in the arrest of two drivers early Saturday morning, including a father who had two toddlers in the back seat, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

State troopers reported spotting a Dodge Charger and a Dodge Challenger driving northbound on Interstate 75 in Manatee County at around 100 mph at 12:04 a.m. on September 5. Both cars then slowed to roughly 50 mph. Troopers saw the woman in the front passenger seat of the Charger reach her hand out the window and signal a “3, 2, 1 GO” countdown with her arm.

Following the signal, both vehicles accelerated side by side to more than 120 mph before troopers pulled them over…
