LUBBOCK, Texas — The Lubbock Gem and Mineral Society’s Annual Show and Sale is returning at the end of September at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center at 1501 Mac Davis Lane.
The event will feature minerals, fossils, crystals, beads, jewelry and more. Guests can watch demonstrations including cabochon fashioning, gemstone setting, silversmithing and wire wrapping.

A silent auction, two grand prizes and a fluorescent tent will also be featured, as well as a kids area that will have games and educational materials.
Tickets can be purchased at the door on the day of the event. Cash and credit card will be accepted. Entry fees include $5 for people ages 12 and up, $3 for children ages 6-11 and children five years or younger get in free…
