LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – There will be no city waste collection on Monday, Sept. 7, in Lexington for the Labor Day holiday.
Residents whose trash and recyclables are normally picked up on Mondays will be served on Wednesday, Sept. 9. The city advised residents to place trash, recycle and yard waste carts on the curb after 4 p.m. on Tuesday for Wednesday collection.
Business trash carts and dumpsters are served twice a week, and the first collection day of the week will be pushed back by one day…
