A milkshake story from Ocean Prime
National Chocolate Milkshake Day is coming up on Saturday, Sept. 12, so it’s timely to share this little tale about Ocean Prime.
When restaurant founder Cameron Mitchell was dining out with his family years ago, his young son asked for a chocolate milkshake, an item on the menu at the restaurant they were visiting. The server said no, so Mitchell asked the manager why they couldn’t make one, pointing out that if a kitchen has a blender, milk and ice cream, employees have everything required to satisfy a customer.
Mitchell vowed never to say no to a simple guest request in his own restaurants. This event launched the company motto, “Yes is the Answer, What is the Question?”…
