ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Rochester City School District will welcome 22,000 students on Tuesday for the start of the new school year. This school year, the district is aiming to continue rolling out Superintendent Dr. Eric Rosser’s vision, which includes tackling challenges with attendance and transportation.
News10NBC reporter Garrett Chan spoke with district leaders about how they’re preparing for the new school year. Deputy Superintendent Casandra Wright said the district has been planning since the end of last school year to ensure classrooms are ready.
