{KXLG – Sioux Falls, SD} The South Dakota Humanities Council and the South Dakota Center for the Book will bring the South Dakota Festival of Books to downtown Sioux Falls on Saturday, October 3.The Festival is free and open to the public, offering a full day of author sessions, workshops, conversations, book signings, and opportunities for readers to meet some of their favorite authors.
The Holiday Inn City Centre will serve as the Festival’s main hub, with additional events taking place at Siouxland Libraries’ Downtown Library and the Coliseum. Festivalgoers can move throughout downtown Sioux Falls for a full day of literary programming featuring authors from South Dakota and across the country.
Nationally recognized constitutional scholar and bestselling author Jeffrey Rosen will serve as the 2026 Festival keynote speaker.
