Rhett Cozart, a former Cramerton mayor and commissioner, has been appointed to the town’s Board of Commissioners to fill a vacant seat through December 2029.
The appointment was approved during the board’s regular Sept. 1 meeting, according to a news rlease. Cozart will fill the seat left vacant after Commissioner Kathy Ramsey resigned on July 14, citing personal reasons.
