State awards grants to boost Mid-Michigan food businesses

LANSING, Mich. (News 10) – Several mid-Michigan organizations are receiving state grants to expand food production and processing and strengthen local food supply chains.

The grants are part of $2.3 million awarded through the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to support underserved, value-added and regional food systems and supply chains.
