Kimberly Rimmer is still fairly new to The Villages, and she’s got some questions about the finances of her community development district.
The Grovewood Villas resident attended the Community Development District 7 Board of Supervisors meeting on Wednesday morning at SeaBreeze Recreation Center, where the board unanimously approved a 10% increase for the budget for the approaching fiscal year.
The fiscal year 2026-27 final operating budget will be $3.6 million, with an increase of $619,457 from the current year, mainly due to mill and overlay road projects scheduled at four villa units this fiscal year…
