History is always echoing. In March 2002, Southern Living wrote about the rebirth of “Austin’s Grand Hotel” —The Driskill —which had undergone a three-year, multimillion-dollar restoration project. By our own account these updates made “the capital city’s grande dame hotel better than ever.”
