LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KATV) — A Little Rock woman is recovering after a firework exploded in her face on the Fourth of July, leaving her with severe injuries and a long road to recovery.
Tee, who has asked that her face not be shown, said the firework malfunctioned and exploded unexpectedly during a family celebration. The blast caused burns on her arms, neck and face, broke her collarbone, left a hole in her arm, and resulted in a concussion. She has been unable to work for nearly two months and has undergone two surgeries.
“I’m better. I’m making it, and I’m just glad to still be here. Honestly, it could have been worse,” Tee told Channel 7…
