Portland Police Bureau officers and emergency medical crews were dispatched to an injury traffic crash in Inner Southeast Portland early Wednesday evening, August 12th, at the intersection of S.E. Powell Boulevard and 40th Avenue.
Four officers responded to what appeared to be a collision between a sport-utility vehicle and a motorcycle – and they reported that the motorcycle rider had already been rushed to a local hospital for care.
Later, according to PPB Public Information Officer Terri Wallo Strauss, investigators determined that two motorcycles had been traveling eastbound on Powell Boulevard. “The motorcycles were riding near each other in the same lane, with one slightly ahead of the other.” Strauss told THE BEE…
