COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – The South Carolina Court of Appeals overturned the murder conviction of a Hopkins woman, Jamira Davis, in a Wednesday ruling, citing juror misconduct.
Davis was convicted of murder in 2023 in connection with the fatal 2021 shooting of Brandon “Boleg” Boden and was sentenced to 35 years in prison.
During jury deliberations, an unaffiliated attorney, Ashley Berry, overheard a man at the Woodlands Golf and Country Club pool discussing details of the case.
