The Midlands community will gather Sept. 11 to remember the South Carolina first responders, military members and others who lost their lives in the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
Due to the event, the 1000 and 1100 blocks of Lincoln Street and the 900 block of Senate St. will be closed at 7 a.m. for setup, and will remain closed until 11 a.m.
