Jamiria Nicole Motes, 27, of Stockbridge, is accused of operating a white BMW X6, which struck and dislocated the parking deck gate of the Red Deck at The Battery Atlanta on Aug. 22 at 8:45 p.m., according to an arrest warrant from the Cobb County Sheriff’s Office.
Police called the phone number associated with the vehicle and spoke with Motes. She stated she was at The Battery, but denied striking the gate. Police asked her to return to the scene and she did not. The incident was captured on two security cameras operated by Battery security personnel. The video shows Motes striking the gate and driving off. LAZ Parking Personnel advised the gate was damaged and would have to be replaced. The value of the gate was $1,500, according to the warrant.
Motes is charged with driving – duty to report accident resulting in injury, death or property damage. She was arrested on Sept. 2 at 3 p.m. and booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, according to jail records…
