MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – A new program in Alabama is working to help people leaving prison get back into the workforce and stay out of prison.
The Alabama Restart Initiative will connect people on probation and parole with job training, support services and employers in high-demand industries.

The initiative is using nearly $4 million in federal funding to connect people on probation and parole with job training and employers.
