Arkansas State Police release details on five fatal crashes across the region

The Arkansas State Police released preliminary fatal crash summaries Thursday detailing five traffic crashes that claimed five lives across the region in late August and early September.

The most recent fatal crash occurred at 3:55 a.m. Sunday in rural Fulton County. According to state police, pedestrian Reid Grant, 18, of Franklin, was struck in a lane of traffic on Byron Road by a southbound 2014 Toyota Avalon. Grant was pronounced dead at the scene.
