SOUTHEASTERN N.C. (WECT) – Regional YMCA branches are opening their facilities to the public for Welcoming Week, an annual campaign held in partnership with Welcoming America that aims to connect residents and highlight local cultures.
Throughout the observance, nonmembers can access YMCA facilities, classes and recreational activities free of charge. The organization is also waiving joining fees and deferring membership dues until October for individuals who enroll during the week.
