So, it was much cooler today, but the front failed to deliver the rain we needed. That goes for most of the area, closer to Central Missouri, inches of rain fell, but the band of rain quickly faded as it pushed across the I-44 corridor.
Temperatures, on the other hand, were much cooler anywhere you looked, but especially to the north, where highs were near 80°. This is a full 20° cooler than highs yesterday.
So, we’ve managed to turn down the temps, and we’ll hold onto a cooler pattern into the weekend ahead of another sizzling surge…
