STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. (PIX11) — A delivery worker was pistol-whipped and raped in a NYCHA complex on Staten Island Wednesday, according to the NYPD.
The 37-year-old woman was hit in the face with a black and silver gun and sexually assaulted inside the Berry Houses near Dongan Hills Avenue and Jefferson Street at around 6 p.m., police said.
“I heard a thumping sound, thought she was jumping down the steps, but that was probably him dragging her,” a building resident told PIX11 News.
