San Antonio drivers, beware: The Texas Department of Transportation plans some major closures around the Loop 1604 and Interstate 10 interchange on the Northwest Side, for this weekend and beyond.
TxDOT said it will close all lanes of eastbound Loop 1604 at the interchange from 9 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday, as it continues work on a long-running project to expand Loop 1604 across the North Side.
The agency will also make nightly closures of all lanes of I-10 at the interchange between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. During those hours, the eastbound and westbound frontage roads for I-10 will also be closed…
