FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — While sewer work will begin at 8 p.m. this Sunday to support the Pufferbelly Trail Pedestrian Bridge over Coliseum Boulevard, the actual bridge itself could be delayed by a series of unexpectedly high construction bids.
“Unfortunately, when the three bids came in for the Vann Family Bridge, the lowest bid was approximately $2.5 million over the engineer’s estimate,” Greenways Manager Dawn Ritchie told WANE 15.
