Downtown Foley Prepares for the 2026 Chicago Street Supper Club

Foley, Ala. — (GSN) — The South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce is bringing back one of Baldwin County’s premier culinary events, the Chicago Street Supper Club, on Friday, October 16, 2026. Presented by The Law Offices of Brenton C. McWilliams, the annual gathering transforms North Chicago Street near Heritage Park into an elegant, open-air dining room under the downtown lights.

The Chicago Street Supper Club emerged in the aftermath of the 2010 Deepwater Horizon BP oil spill as part of a community effort to showcase local seafood and reassure the public that Gulf Coast waters remained safe. Seeking to turn adversity into opportunity, the South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce, collaborated with Coastal Alabama Community College and it’s culinary and hospitality event-planning students. Designed as a student-driven initiative to highlight culinary craftsmanship and event management, the inaugural gathering debuted as a kickoff dinner in Foley’s Heritage Park before permanently relocating onto North Chicago Street the following year. Over the years, the supper club has evolved into a signature regional tradition where local master chefs and college alumni work side-by-side with current culinary students to celebrate Southern hospitality and community resilience.
