Van Buren, N.Y. — Part of the Thruway in Van Buren was closed for hours Friday night after a tractor-trailer overturned in a construction zone, causing a major traffic backup.
Around 6:36 p.m., the Warners Fire Department and a GBAC ambulance responded to I-90 westbound between exits 39 and 40 for a reported tractor-trailer crash, according to Onondaga County 911 Center dispatches.
