Trustee, advocates differ over what CCSD use-of-force data shows

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — A Clark County School District trustee, a state lawmaker and a local advocacy leader are offering different perspectives of the racial breakdown in recently released school police use-of-force data.

The report shows CCSD police used force in 11 incidents during the 2025-2026 school year involving 21 people. Eighteen were identified as Black, two as Hispanic and one as white. The report provides demographic information but does not explain what accounts for that breakdown.
