An adult woman was left unresponsive Friday afternoon after being struck by a vehicle on New Hampshire Avenue near Valley Brook Drive in Silver Spring, with emergency crews dispatched to the scene around 2:10 p.m. The driver remained at the scene following the crash, and police say their investigation is still in its preliminary stages.
Third District officers with the Montgomery County Department of Police and Montgomery County Fire and Rescue crews located the unresponsive pedestrian at the intersection, according to FOX 5 DC, which cited social media updates from the Montgomery County Department of Police.
