A 1903 Victorian home in Bergen County is on the market for $2.35 million, but the real showstopper may be tucked away behind it.
The seven-bedroom home at 235 Kinderkamack Road in Emerson is being sold with an adjacent property at 18 Jefferson Ave. that includes a 1,395-square-foot, three-bay garage built for serious car enthusiasts. The garage was featured in a 2007 Travel Channel episode called “Fantasy Garages,” according to the listing and longtime owner Steve D’Gerolamo.
The garage and landscaping were designed to give the property a secluded feel despite its location along Kinderkamack Road, said listing agent Gary Leach, of Corcoran Infinity Properties.
