Widespread flooding struck the tri-state hard Sunday morning, drenching parts of New Jersey and Connecticut especially in several inches of rain.
The rain is expected to keep coming down until the early afternoon before the storm ultimately pushes out east.
By then, hours of rainfall will have soaked much of our area.
