The Tacoma sisters convicted of murder for plotting the drug robbery of a man who lived in their father’s garage — and enlisting the help of an acquaintance who beat the man to death in the process — were sentenced Friday, one to 40 years in prison and the other to 35 years.
A jury found Pamela Gabrilski-Jones, 47, and Marian Jones-Pardur, 44, guilty in July of first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit second-degree robbery and first-degree burglary for the Nov. 27, 2024, killing of 56-year-old William Akers.
