HENRIETTA, N.Y. — Make-A-Wish teamed up with Rochester Institute of Technology’s Magic Spell Studios to grant 19-year-old Caleb Pixley’s wish to create a video game.
News10NBC’s Declan Stablow was at RIT as Pixley’s friends and family gathered to play his game, “The Maw.” Pixley lives with a nervous system disorder, and Make-A-Wish says it took months of work to make his wish come true.
Pixley was able to work side by side with RIT developers who have experience building games like his. Make-A-Wish says RIT’s resources made it happen.
