Gilbert Council to vote on Town Square apartments

A developer wants to build an 181-unit, senior apartment complex at Gilbert Town Square.

The Planning Commission voted 7-0 recently to recommend City Council approve a minor General Plan amendment and a rezone on 6.37 acres from shopping center use to allow for the Headwaters Gilbert project. The item is scheduled before Council on Sept. 15.
