According to public filings, a new convenience store concept under the name Darden Hill Market plans to open at 12000 Darden Hill Road in Austin, in Hays County.
Co-owner Malek Al Sayyed told What Now Austin that the project is in its early phase. “If everything goes fine, it will be up and running sometime in January 2028,” Al Sayyed said.
The concept is planned to be a convenience store with gasoline, with a liquor store planned alongside it. Al Sayyed confirmed to What Now Austin that the store would also serve made-to-go food, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner tacos, along with snacks and standard convenience items.
