DETROIT – A man who was convicted of shooting and killing a Westland man outside a Southwest Detroit apartment complex in 2025 learned his sentence on Friday.
The shooting happened outside the Grand Lofts apartment complex on May 4, 2025. Damon Bentley, 28, was arrested and charged with shooting and killing a 28-year-old Westland man.
