From a mule named Bird to robots: Coca-Cola United’s Birmingham story continues

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – Their story started with a wagon and Bird the mule. Today, that same operation includes robots, a three-story atrium and a $330 million facility.

This is Coca-Cola United’s past and present.

For Pam Cook, the company’s corporate director of community and stakeholder engagement, a tour of the new building is also a walk through its history, with plenty of reminders of where the company started and the people who helped it grow.
