NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (FOX 56) — An old Kentucky license plate may no longer belong on the road, but county clerks across the commonwealth are giving the tags a new purpose — supporting veterans.
Inside the Jessamine County Courthouse, a wall filled with photographs and names honors local veterans. Just down the hall, that same gratitude is displayed through retired license plates transformed into colorful birdhouses.
