OAK CREEK, Wis. (WFRV) – Police in southern Wisconsin are asking for the public’s help in identifying the two or three suspects involved in stealing 38 school bus catalytic converters.
According to a release from the Oak Creek Police Department, officers responded during the early morning hours to the Riteway Bus Co. at 7433 South 10th Street for reports of a theft.

Employees reported that several buses were missing their catalytic converters, delaying student drop-offs on Monday.
Police determined that the 2 to 3 suspects had entered the Riteway property between 4:15 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. on Sunday and removed the catalytic converters from 38 school buses. Police say the suspects entered the property from 10th Street and had parked by the gate on South 13th Street.
