Students grapple with reduced aid in wake of receding state grant funds

With the fall semester transitions in full swing, college students both locally and statewide have been left to confront reductions to one of the most critical forms of need-based financial aid.

The Minnesota State Grant is the largest statewide financial aid program for undergraduate resident students, assisting thousands of low- and middle-income scholars annually.
