A North Carolina family is mourning the loss of a 9-year-old boy who was fatally struck by a vehicle while riding his bicycle near his home, leading his mother to urge drivers to be more careful in neighborhoods where children play, ABC11 said.
Courtney Brooks told local reporters that her son, Keegan Brooks, had been riding bicycles with a friend near their Durham neighborhood on Sunday when tragedy struck, People reported.
