SHREVEPORT, La. — The City of Shreveport’s Department of Community Development will release $1,800,000 awarded by the Department of Housing and Urban Development to complete housing rehabilitation in low to moderate income communities in Shreveport.
This funding will address critical home repair needs including plumbing, HVAC, handicap accessibility, and roof repairs, according to a news release from Community Development Director Verni Howard.
