(FORT CARSON, Colo.) — Fort Carson began its second phase of the Arapahoe Village construction project with a demolition kickoff day on Tuesday, Sept. 15.
During the event, Garrison leadership initiated the demolition of the project’s first building, starting the project’s second phase, in which 300 units built in the late 1950s are being demolished and replaced by 245 new homes for soldiers and families.
The second phase of the construction project is expected to wrap up in Sept. 2030, but families are expected to begin moving into the new homes by early 2029…
