ANN ARBOR, MI — The University of Michigan Police Department has a message for anyone planning to attend the sixth-annual Entheofest on the Central Campus Diag this weekend.
“We remind Entheofest attendees that the city of Ann Arbor’s resolution regarding entheogenic plants and fungi does not change state or federal law. Psilocybin and psilocin remain controlled substances under Michigan law,” Deputy Police Chief Melissa Overton said in a statement.
“Unlawful possession, use, manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to deliver may violate Michigan law, including MCL 333.7401, 333.7403 and 333.7404,” she added…
