GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Wednesday marks the beginning of Michigan Street Poutine Week, a yearly restaurant competition in Grand Rapids that asks participating businesses to create their own unique, limited-time-only poutine dishes for customers to try and vote on.
At each of the 12 locations during Michigan Street Poutine Week, customers can receive a “Poutine Passport” stamp card and earn a stamp after ordering that location’s poutine-inspired item.

After receiving at least four stamps, customers can vote for their favorite Michigan Street Poutine Week competitor and receive a complimentary T-shirt at 7 Monks GR.
To celebrate the sixth annual Michigan Street Poutine Week, a free crafting night will take place at 7 Monks GR from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday and a free trolley service between Vander Mill, 7 Monks GR and Elbow Room will be available on Saturday and Sept. 26 from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.
