Longtime employee files racial discrimination lawsuit against Mike Chase

A longtime restaurant manager for the Copper Cellar Corporation has filed a racial discrimination lawsuit against the company and its owner, Mike Chase.

The employee, who worked for the company for 40 years, according to the federal lawsuit filed Sept. 15, says she was subjected to racial discrimination and a hostile work environment. She worked in a variety of positions, including assistant general manager and general manager at different restaurants Chase owns.
