Big Bad Breakfast opens 2nd location in Cooper-Young area

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Big Bad Breakfast is set to open its second Memphis location in the Cooper-Young area towards the end of September.

The new restaurant at 2149 Young Ave. is set to open on September 29. They will be open for breakfast, brunch, and lunch daily from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Big Bad Breakfast is known for its “from-scratch breakfast and lunch restaurant,” created by award-winning Chef and Cookbook author John Currence.

“Coming from Oxford, Memphis is an important town for me because, like the brand, it is filledwith soul, grit and an unfailingly scrappy and genuine spirit that could not embody the South any more than it does,” said Chef John Currence, Founder of BBB.

At BBB Cooper-Young, they said they will serve Southern favorites, heart-healthy options, custom cocktails and mocktails, and some of Chef Currence’s famous biscuits…
