IRONDEQUOIT, N.Y. —The trial for two brothers accused of killing an Irondequoit family after a package of drugs went missing during a drug operation continues.
An Irondequoit Police investigator spent more than two hours on the stand Tuesday. The main focus was messages retrieved through iCloud backup.
What was said in court
Investigators were able to get messages between Fraime Ubaldo, Marangely Moreno-Santiago, Luis Soriano and Julio Pimentel-Soriano. Investigators said Luis was saved as “Yeyo” in Fraime’s phone, and Julio was “Luis Cari.”
On Aug. 14, 2024, Luis sent a picture of another phone showing a tracking app with a red GPS dot over a plaza on Waring Road. This is when the drug package arrived to Rochester from Puerto Rico…
