Bossier City Patrolman First Class recognized for work protecting motorists

BOSSIER CITY, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – For Bossier City Patrolman First Class Darron Kerry, keeping motorists safe involves more than writing tickets.

Kerry has spent eight and a half years with the Bossier City Police Department and has about 20 years of law enforcement experience. His career also includes time with the Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Throughout his career, Kerry has served in several roles. At the Bossier City Police Department, he moved from patrol to the traffic unit, where officers focus on problem areas, including neighborhoods and school zones.

“We’re trying to protect the other motorists,” Kerry said. “We’re out there to protect all the motorists out there.”…
