Kansas City, Missouri – For someone carrying an unresolved municipal warrant or court case, one day can make a major difference. Kansas City’s upcoming Court Connect event is designed to put several pieces of that process in the same place, from court representatives and volunteer attorneys to organizations offering practical help beyond the courtroom.
But there is an important deadline first. Anyone who wants to participate in the event’s Warrant and Case Review must register by Friday, Sept. 18.
Court Connect will return Friday, Oct. 2, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Kansas City Municipal Court, 511 E. 11th St. Now in its fourth year, the program brings together eight area courts, volunteer attorneys and more than 50 community organizations…
