A deputy was bitten several times by a dog while executing a warrant Thursday morning in Northeast Philadelphia, according to the Philadelphia Sheriff’s Office.
The incident occurred around 8 a.m. on Sept. 17 at a home on Colony Drive. According to officials, the deputy was bitten several times on the leg while executing the warrant. During the encounter, a deputy discharged a firearm.
SkyForce 10 flew over the scene, where there was a heavy law enforcement presence and about 10 people could be seen sitting on a sidewalk in handcuffs.
