HOMETOWN ENTERTAINMENT: David Arquette to appear at Berglund Center for Scream anniversary event

ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) – It has been 30 years since the first “Scream” movie hit theaters. A special anniversary showing of the film, along with a live Q&A with actor David Arquette, is coming to the Berglund Center in October.

Arquette played Deputy Dewey Riley in the “Scream” movie franchise.

Arquette reflects on the role

Arquette said the role has had a lasting impact on his life.

“I don’t know, it’s, it’s always kind of emotional. I get somewhat emotional in it. I mean, it’s had a really huge impact on my life. I met my ex-wife there, and we have a daughter, Coco. It’s sort of the most important thing in the world to me. So, yeah, so it really has a deep meaning,” Arquette said…
